The Journey by YoYoJam, is a redesign of the earlier 2002 Patriot. The goal for the redesign was to introduce the YoYoJam O-Ring response system on their budget plastic Patriot design. The O-ring response system was more durable and dependable than the previous starburst response. The yo-yo kept the large C-bearing for smooth spinning string performance. The Journey’s wide catch zone and relatively standard sizing made it easier to land tricks.
This Journey Yo-Yo features a slightly marbled, pearl-blue plastic. The internal hubs on this Journey Yo-Yo are in great shape with only the slightest cracking around the axle; much less than a typical YoYoJam yo-yo from this era. There’s no sign of scuffing from walking the dog or any other blemishes to the yo-yo. It’s in overall great shape and hasn’t got a lot of play in my collection. Own this
