    Description

    Vibrant, highly detailed African mask, believed to be from Republic of Zaire.  This is of recent hand-made manufacture; it is not an antique.
    The beard is made of some sort of grass and is stably woven into the mask.
    With the beard, the mask is 21" long x 8.5" wide and 4.5" deep.  Without the beard, the mask is 13.25" long.
