Hand Carved African Statue of Man With Cloth Strips Covering - 11” (Possibly From Ghana)
This is a hand carved wooden statue of a West African man wearing a cape like covering made from strips of local cloth.
It is about 11” tall
It was purchased in Ghana in 2005 at the well known Accra Art & Craft Market.
No representation was made for the statue. It was purchased just because its appearance appealed to me.
