    Here is a
    nice clean used pair of Starrett 37-6 lock-joint transfer type inside calipers in the 6" size.
    They work good and look good!   The locking knob has a beautiful patina color from age like a rare coin gets.  There are no owner engravings on them, just normal usage light scratches.   These run 1 new today from Starrett.  Here is some general information on this type:

One of the handiest and most versatile calipers ever made, Starrett Lock-Joint Transfer Calipers feature a transfer arm, a fine-adjustment screw, and a locking joint. Legs are made from a high-grade steel, rugged in construction, and well-finished.Caliper size and capacity is 6". 6"/150mm (Inside).
    Features:
    Once legs have been set to approximate size and joint locked, final adjustment is made by a few turns of the knurled adjusting nut
